Co-Curricular Activities

Literary Club, Science Association and Astronomy Club serve as the ready avenues for developing the co-curricular activities of the students. These forums organize various activities to bring out the innate talents of the students. In order to hone their presentation skills, Seminars and Paper Presentations are also arranged by these forums. Apart from this, they conduct various competitions such as oratory, quiz, exhibitions etc. to develop their lateral thinking, general knowledge and interest in research fields. They also organize guest lecturers to enrich the academic knowledge of the students.

Student's Professional Activities

The students of Tejaa Shakthi Institute of technology for women can involve themselves in the activities oriented to their core branches of engineering/ Technology. This has been made possible with the help of professional associations, related to their own fields. The two associations - Electronics and Electrical association and Computer Information Technology Association provide students the much needed opportunities not only to enrich their professional knowledge but also the opportunity to organize events such as seminars, conferences, workshops and guest lecturers which will enable them to develop certain desirable skills such as organizational skill, team spirit, and leadership quality towards building a successful career .

Extra Curricular Activities

National Service Scheme

The NSS unit of the college functions actively to render service to the community by spreading awareness about the importance of making the environment clean and green. It also conducts various camps to educate the rural population about the importance of growing trees and protecting water bodies. Apart from this, the students actively involve themselves in serving the children in orphanages and senior citizens in old age homes.

Red Ribbon Club

The Red Ribbon Club renders creditable services to the rural community by educating the public about the importance of Health and Hygiene. The club also conducts Blood Donation and AIDS Awareness Camps where the rural community is advised to render timely service by donating blood to those in need. Further, the rural community is educated an awareness about HIV Virus in order to protect themselves from the deadly Virus.

Youth Red Cross

The Youth Red Cross Club promotes the ideal of a healthy life to the public. The club actively engages with various orphanages and old age homes and renders services to the sick and needy. It conducts various camps and training programmes like Blood Donation, First Aid Training etc. It also takes part in rallies to emphasize the importance of donating organs to those in need. It endeavours to promote a cordial relationship amongst different people in the society.
