The Institution is sponsored by SABARI´S EDUCATIONAL TRUST, a nonprofit organization founded on 9th day of January 1997 and registered by the Government of Tamil Nadu vide 14 of 1997 dated 10/01/1997.

This educational trust aims to educate and cultivate women leaders from all socio-economic, religious and ethnic backgrounds whose life experiences will combine with an extraordinary education, empowering women to help themselves, their families, and their communities.

The Trustees of the above Trust are actively associated in the running of the following Institutions:

• Tamil Nadu College of Engineering (Estd.1984)
• Nanjappa Polytechnic College (Estd.1982)
• Sri Dhayanandapuri Matriculation Hr.Sec.School (Estd.1999)
